First Domino — Why You Should Focus on Just One Goal

More Goals, Less Achieved
Some people set 10 goals for the year — exercise, reading, languages, saving money, diet... They start enthusiastically, but by year's end, rarely have they accomplished much of any of it. More goals means more divided attention and less clarity on priorities, until nothing gets pushed forward deeply.
The Single Goal Principle
First Domino was built to address this problem at a structural level. The app only lets you set one goal at each time horizon.
It's an implementation of the concept from The One Thing: right now, what's the single most important thing? And what's the one thing you need to do today to move toward it?
The App's Core Questions
When you first launch First Domino, you're asked a question: "What is your one goal for the next 5 years?" Once that's set, you define the one thing you need to do this year for that 5-year goal, then this month's one thing, this week's one thing, and today's one thing.
This is a top-down structure. It starts with the big picture and descends to a concrete action for today. Executing today's one thing keeps you connected to a sense of progress toward something that matters.
